How To Unlock BlackBerry Pearl 8100g Instructions

Pearl 8100g mobile phone battery is fully charged.
Insert a SIM Card & turn OFF ALL wireless radios.
1. Press the Menu key.
2. Scroll to Turn Wireless Off and press the trackball (Will show Turn Wireless ON).
3. Scroll to Options and press the trackball.
4. Scroll to Advanced Options and press the trackball.
5. Scroll to SIM Card and press the trackball.
6. Type MEPPD (not case sensitive). This step opens up the personalization screen on your BlackBerry Pearl 8100g device. Please Note: When typing in MEPPD the letters will not appear on the screen. Make sure you have Active (means your phone is locked) beside the Network. If it says Disabled beside the Network, it means your phone is unlocked. If it says Blocked, that means you or someone else already made too many attempts to unlock the phone and the phone is now hard locked, that can not be unlock by a code.
7. Type MEPP (not case sensitive), then hold ALT key and type number 2 Note: When typing in MEPP2 the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the "Enter Network MEP" box. If you do not see "Enter Network MEP" box, you didn't type in MEP2 properly.
8. Enter Unlock Code.
9. Press the Enter Key. (Make sure you press the Enter Key within 5 second or you have to enter the unlock code again).
10. You will see a Code Accepted message, you will also see the Network is Disabled. Your phone is now unlocked.
Restart the phone and follow steps 1 & 2 and restore connections.
Please note that some phones will not require a SIM Card to unlock. If the above instructions do not work, then remove the SIM Card and unlock.

FOR GSM BLACKBERRY MOBILES:
Please make sure to type the code correctly, do not retry if the code fails.
IF CODE FAILS OR THERE IS A CODE ERROR, FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:


1- Turn All Connections Off

2- Select Settings

3- Select Options

4- Select Advance Options

5- Select SIM Card

6- Network --> Active means phone is locked

7- Enter the Code

8- Network --> Disabled means phone is unlocked
